Rustic Huts Camping

The campsite covers 10 acres across three fields, with a stream and ponds for kids and dogs to splash around in and an unspoilt oak woodland. The woodland is great for building dens and collecting wood for campfires.

The organic land is the ideal place to spot frogs, dragonflies and lots of other wildlife. You'll certainly be able to spot the resident red kites that nest in the old Scots pine tree near the house.

The owners are happy for you to light campfires as long as you never leave the fire unattended - they believe everyone should have the chance to sit around a fire, gaze up at the stars and enjoy time away from technology, with friends and family.

There is very little light pollution here, so if you enjoy star gazing you'll hopefully get lucky and have a couple of clear nights. Make sure you bring a torch as it gets very dark if the moon is not out.

Guests have access to a posh flushing toilet and a warm shower in Ty Bach shepherd's hut. The Ty Bach also has electric points in the changing area for hair dryers and mobile phones. There is also fresh water and dish-washing facilities at the outdoor kitchen area. Being your tent, motorhome, campervan, horse lorry or large SUV and nestle in for the night.

You might want to travel light and spend the night in Savi the Safari vintage caravan for the complete nostalgic experience. Savi is fully kitted out with private toilet washroom, kitchen with cooking facilities and private decking. Savi is small and cute for two sharing but you might want to invite your friend to camp in tents alongside Savi for a larger social experience.
