Into The Sticks

Into The Sticks is set within a secluded and sheltered private nature reserve teeming with wildlife near the coast in West Wales. Just a handful of tent-only pitches and a unique off-grid Tiny Home tucked away in 22 beautiful acres including the Western Cleddau river, woodlands, meadows, thickets, streams and marsh - partly designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Area of Conservation.

Our facilities are all hand made from local, sustainable and reclaimed materials and include a covered washing up area, luxury dry toilet and "shower with a view", plus a shower repurposed from an IBC. There is also a stone barn with indoor seating, games to borrow, a nature and craft table, honesty shop, dart board and pool table (50p to play).

Each pitch is large and has its own fire pit. Dry firewood and Charcoal are available to buy.

During high season each pitch also has its own eco compost toilet in a pop up tent, picnic table and benches and a useful, rustic kitchen stand. During this period, firewood is included in your pitch fee.

On site there are 3km of private nature trail to explore and during high season, a programme of activities are available too. These includes animal feeding, an accompanied bat walk at dusk, craft sessions pizza and jacket potato evenings. If you would like to take part in these activities you can do so at no extra fee.

We have a low and high seasons so please check with us for prices. Hot showers, parking, use of two fridge freezers, charging devices and all soaps and washing products will always be included in your pitch fee.

With the nearest beaches just 5 miles away, the whole of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail within an hour's drive, more than 25 cracking beaches within a 20 minute drive and the Preseli Mountains also on our doorstep this is a perfect location for all outdoor activities.

Remote feeling with no visible signs of the modern world but only a mile from the local village with full range of shops and services this site is perfect for families, couples, nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and those who want to escape the crowds.
